Join us for an evening stroll around Oban in search of bats. You’ll discover more about these marvellous creatures and their   habits as you watch them leave their roosts. We’ll tell you about what we might see and hear on the safari locally, helping   you understand why our native bats, and bats in general, are important. Try your hand at using a bat detector and take part   in citizen science.  You are helping bat conservation by coming along and maybe could get involved where you live.

Tours run July—September but are weather dependent as our bats are less likely to emerge in heavy rain.

Event start times will vary depending on sunset but walks will generally start between 19:00 and 23:00 lasting around 2 –3   hours.
