Ross Preston MSc, MCIEEM is the principle consultant and is a full member of CIEEM and has over 30 years of working in the public and private sector.

Ross holds the following licenses:

Bat - Summer and winter roost (Scottish Licence)

      - Class 2 England License

Schedule I Bird License

Freshwater Pearl Mussel (Scotland & England)

He has also carried out additional survey work for otters and badgers under license.

After spending 11 years in Forest Research Ross moved on to working with the Forestry Commission working as a Conservation and Education Officer.  From 2004-2006  he worked with Scottish Natural Heritage as the Mid Argyll Area Officer.  After a brief return to the Forestry Commission he became a Consultant Ecologist back in 2007.  

Ross has worked all over Scotland from John O'Groats to the Borders and the islands working on projects such as the Aberdeen by-pass, Inverclyde new prison development, Bertha Park Perth Housing development, Western HVDC Link Hunterston, St Andrews University Bat surveys, Napier University bat surveys, almost 20 hydro schemes and has worked on over 40 wind farm sites.

Consultant

Janie Steele BSc (Hons) has over 20 years of experience in working in the public and private sector.  Janie spent 7 years working on a Red squirrel re-introduction trial in Thetford.  Janie worked within Forestry Commission Scotland in Oban from 2002 to 2015 as a Conservation Officer. She has a particular interest in marine biology having researched pathogenetic diseases in cetaceans during her Wild Animal Biology MSc at the London ZSl.
